A few years ago my dad took this picture of Beau and Sam, all decked out in their holiday best. And to make it extra special, he put it into a picture night light. I have brought it out of hiding and it is now shinning warmly in our kitchen.
Beau isn't doing so well as he was in the time this picture was taken, and Sammy is getting pretty old and achy too- but thanks to the constant care and love they get from my parents, they are both still happy boys. (Even if they do make my parents lives...rough to say the least). But this picture still makes me happy. It's cozy and sweet and its currently our only christmas decoration.
