I find that photos can never really capture the beauty of a night sky- and that's certainly true of the ones I took the other night when the moon looked so low in the sky I thought we could probably touch it if we climbed to the top of one of Edinburgh's many spired buildings.
We could see all the texture of the moon's surface- which my camera decided to blow out into a glowing orb. Luckily for us, the pictures in our memory are much more accurate! We enjoyed a lovely moonlit stroll home from New Town. Hope you all had a magical "blue moon" as well!
